In my significant writing project, I used MLA guidelines to the best of my ability along with paying close attention to sentence-level error. I used MLA correctly in most of my paper. I did not realize that larger works needed to be in italics at this point of the semester, so I did not italicize the titles of a magazine that one of my sources came from. I also did not double check the generated MLA citation of a source that I got from a website, so there was in error within the works cited page as well. Other than these mistakes, I used MLA guidelines to produce a professional paper. I will remember these things that I made mistakes on to make improvements for next time, as I did in my third paper. I produced a paper with minimal to none sentence-level errors for my second paper. I looked over it many times and had a peer look over it for me. I learned in class that it is essential to have fresh eyes look at my papers to pick up on the errors that my eyes could not spot. This is a skill that I have learned over the course of english.
